Financial Planning Administrator

Recruit Wealth are representing a highly successful, Chartered Status Financial Planning business in the Bournemouth/Poole area who are now recruiting for an experienced Administrator.

Our client deals with high net worth individuals relating to their pension, investment needs and working towards ensuring their financial security with their expert guidance.

You will be working alongside experienced team members offering a high level of Administration support to the Financial Advisers/Paraplanners. Overview of the role is detailed below:

  • Undertake new business processing and follow through the progress of each case to completion.
  • Deal with daily email & phone tasks and financial administration for clients and advisers
  • Use Intelligent Office (IO) in order to ensure processes are followed, tasks are updated, and service is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with advisers, paraplanners, product providers and clients by telephone, letter, and email on associated administration.
  • Obtain and prepare client valuation reports and check for accuracy.
  • Pro-actively participate in team meetings and agree actions where appropriate.
  • Work with the Client Servicing Manager when developing, implementing, and reviewing processes and procedures to ensure that there are good systems to support the business that meet regulations and company needs.
  • Answering the phone in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet & greet clients
  • Undertake all tasks effectively and within the process & compliance guidelines set by the company and FCA.

It would be desirable if you possess any of the below in being considered further for this opportunity:

  • Wanting to work towards the Diploma in Financial Planning or already undertaken exams
  • Experience of Financial Services back-office systems in particular Intelligent Office
  • Experienced in use of Financial Services research tools
  • Experience in using platform/wrap provider technology

This role will undoubtedly suit an individual who has at least 1 years Financial Services Administration background. Study support for recognised industry exams are all paid for with the view to progress and become an integral member of the team.
