Marketing Assistant/Exec

The business offers full Financial Planning and Wealth Management services to private clients, delivering expert levels of advice ensuring financial security through investment, pension and protection needs.

Excitingly, due to the companies ever growing client base they are now looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant/Exec to develop their marketing presence.

This rare opportunity is being marketed as a genuine career and should only be considered as a long term position. There is scope to be developed further with qualification support within a marketing capacity.

Financial Planning & Wealth Management is a highly professional industry, you’ll be working alongside long serving members of staff who are highly qualified and regulated by the FCA.

Financial Services experience in a similar role would be preferable but not essential.

As such, you’ll need to demonstrate previous experiences based on the job spec listed below:

  • Monitor, review and update company websites and web pages
  • Post content across the company’s social media profile accounts (Google My Business, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter).
  • Proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Work with Head of Operations & Advising team to organise and attend face to face events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions together.
  • Issue communications to clients.
  • Conduct market research as required, for example using customer questionnaires.
  • Capturing and reporting on marketing effectiveness.
  • Record marketing expenditure and ensure this remains within budget.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required

To be successful in this role, the company have outlined their essential person specification:

  • Enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour
  • Experience in Excel, Mailchimp, Word press, and Social Media platforms preferable.
  • Good at planning, monitoring, and recording actions.
  • Able to pay attention to the detail and work well with others.
  • Be able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Client focused
  • Polite, courteous and professional
