Paraplanner
Recruit Wealth are representing an Independent Financial Planning practice in Hertfordshire who have an enviable reputation and recognised as a leading advisory firm in the county.
The business is looking to recruit a skilled and competent Paraplanner to work alongside high producing Financial Planners who manage a diverse portfolio of clients relating to pension and investment advice. This role is newly created as the company continues with its expansion plans during a very successful period for the business.
Duties:
- To analyse individual client circumstances and extensively research the whole market to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the clients position including full product and fund research
- Produce compliant Suitability Reports
- Ensure each recommendation is appropriate and compliant and records are maintained accurately
- Debrief with adviser as necessary
- Collate background information and undertake research to provide a response to client enquiries
- Aid adviser in achieving new business targets as set and reviewed periodically by identifying any new business opportunities
- Identify new planning opportunities from existing client bank, working closely with Advisers to bring them to fruition
- Prepare cases for Administration Team for client meetings and processing
- Act in accordance with applicable legislation, e.g. Financial Services, Data Protection, Money Laundering etc and alert Head of Compliance of any issues
- Maintain company values, procedures and policies
- Process and maintain workload in an organised and timely fashion, whilst keeping advisers up-to-date
- Assist in new project work, where appropriate
- Maintain and update the back office system (Intelligent Office) in conjunction with Administration Team
If you posses experience of using Intelliflo this would be highly advantageous.
