Project Coordinator

Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing one of our key national clients, who now seeks to recruit a "Project Coordinator"

Our client is a fast growing Financial & Wealth Management name, who are private equity backed for further expansion & acquisition. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious business to assist with the delivery of varied projects.

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the planning, execution and delivery of projects across various teams and/or departments. This role ensures that project activities are well-organised, documented and progressing. You’ll act as a central point of communication, helping to track milestones, manage documentation and support smooth operation of varied projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines and status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and document minutes and action items.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate issues or delays to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets and reports.
  • Track and update project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Support resource planning, scheduling and coordination of project activities.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Assist in quality control by ensuring deliverables meet required standards and deadlines.
  • Help manage change control processes and ensure adherence to project governance frameworks.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project) is preferred.
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, CAPM) is a plus, but not essential.

Experience in the Financial Services industry is advantageous.

Please note, this is a home based opportunity with some occasional travel required.
