DFM - Business Development Director

A newly created, Senior Business Development Director level role is now available with an innovative and fast growing DFM who seeks to grow it’s AUM.

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced and knowledgeable Investment Management BDM to grow and develop further relationships on behalf of the brand.

Our client considers itself a disruptive DFM who takes an active approach to their investment philosophy with a focus on allocating to direct equities as opposed to active or passive funds. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to join a vibrant, passionate team focusing on the best possible investment outcomes for its clients.

Role Responsibilities

Working closely with the CIO, the investment research/analyst team and being responsible for the day-to-day execution of business development with the view to disrupt the market offering the innovative DFM proposition.

Objectives

  • Accomplishing sales and business development
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Achieves an effective marketing and sales strategy
  • Developing a compelling value proposition for firms
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on market opportunities

Relationship Building

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders
  • Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting relations by partnering with them
  • Ensure all DFM supporters receive visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.

Ideal Experiences/Competencies

  • 5-10 Years’ experience in a Financial Services sales roles
  • Demonstrable experience in bringing in assets to a DFM offering/proposition
  • A good working knowledge of Investment Management world
  • Influential communicator

This opportunity is home working, however, as you would expect you must be prepared to travel to various locations around the UK to develop and cultivate relationships.
